Review hair serum: John Frieda Frizz-Ease

Let me describe my hair to you: thick, dry, wild, not straight like I want it ...Sometimes it seems like my hair lives its own life. I tried a lot of products, ruined my hair with a hair straightener... but now I think I finally find a solution: a hair serum from John Frieda and specific the John Frieda frizz-ease extra strength formula hair serum.

I never bought a John Frieda-product before. I don't know why, but I guess the price had something to do with that. This serum costs 13,99 euros for 50 ml. Not that cheap, but if you look at the picture that was taken after one month using, you see you can do a couple of months with the product.

I like the packaging. It looks expensive and elegant. The container itself is handy in use, it dispenses the right amount of serum, without spilling.

The serum promises to block frizz, to instantly and dramatically transform coarse, wiry, unruly frizz for ultra-sleek, purely polished, super-shiny results and to leave dry, defiant hair extremely supple, easy to manage and healthy-looking. It has a high-potency blend of silicones infused with Algae extract and Silk protein and it repels humidity to help prevent weather-related frizz.

Hmm...all that in one product? Does it obtain those results? Read on.

You have to apply the serum to soaking wet hair, so I use it every time in the shower after my shampoo and conditioner. Then I blow-dry my hair or style it as desired. By the way: the product has thermal protection, what an advantage! I tried the serum once without blow-drying my hair and for me it was clear you have less result then.

My hair is less dry, shiny and looks more healthy. It also straightens my hair, which I probably like the most about this serum. My hair is way more easy to manage. It still frizzes a bit, but less than before.

It's a pity though that you don't have long-term effects from the serum. It's not like your hair will be more healthy by using the serum or will frizz less from itself..no, after 2 days not using the serum, my hair is like before. Now I need to find a serum that has the results of this one but with long-term effects! Any suggestions?

Which hair serum do you use?
