DIY approved by dummies: nail art striper

A lot of people like nail art, but not a lot of people have all the supplies to make little pieces of art on your nails. And when you look at it, nail art tools can be quite expensive. So I found out some ways to simulate some tools. For a dotting tool you can use a toothpick or a bobby pin, but I didn't really know anything that I could use as a striper, although it's as simple as 1 2 3.

Shopping haul: THE sales

There are sales in some countries, which means: buy more for less! Or...buy the new collection with shame, something that always happens to me. Last time I went shopping, I actually did some pretty good deals and only bought one piece from the new collection. So proud of myself!

Site to see: Zen Pencils

A lot of people spend a lot of their time on the Internet without doing something useful, I'm one of those people. And it always makes me feel so empty and useless when I spend another 5 hours doing nothing. I even get down because of it. On those days, nothing can cheer me up but a good site that really inspires me to get myself together and to do something. Sad thing is, those places work as a kind of black hole...I get really sucked into them… But at least I don't feel bad about it!

Rock Werchter 2013: sun, songs and sweat

source: http://www.festivalblog.be/sites/default/files/logo's%20festivals/2013/rw%202013.jpg
I'm a bit late with this, since the festival was last week, but I went to Rock Werchter for one day and I wanted to share my experience anyway.

Rock Werchter is one of the biggest pop- and rock festivals in the world. It takes place in a little Belgian town called Werchter and it's just 4 days of fun and music. Due to circumstances I was only able to go on Friday, but besides that it was an awesome experience. The weather was nice and the music also, so what else do you need, eh?

I was there with friends and I saw a lot less artists than I wanted. (I missed The Lumineers and Ben Howard.) But I'm going to give you a quick review of some of the concerts that I have attended.

Products we regret buying: July

Everybody has those things in their closet, bathroom or house they wish they had never bought. Maybe you have a fluorescent yellow kitchen table, a perfume that smells like dog poop or a blue blush. As I am someone who doesn't really think before I buy something, I have quite a lot of these things. Some of them are just ugly, really ugly... But others are just really, but really, bad quality. With this post I want to prevent you guys from buying these things. They are no good.

Music heals the summer soul

As you may have noticed, we unicorns are a bit raving about summer. Summer is all about fun and relaxation and for that you need music, of course. Everything is way more fun with a nice summer jam on the background, so we decided to share our favourite songs for summer with you.
hope you enjoy!

Workout during the summer

January 1, the day I made a New Year's Resolution for 2013. This year, I had the intention to do more workouts and practice more running. Seven months later and I had only downloaded some apps with daily workouts...

During school weeks, I had the lame excuse: 'I have no time.' But here we are, July 1, summer vacation and loads of time! Today I did my first workout session from the app 'Max Capacity Training'. (You can download it for free in the Google Play store or the Itunes store.)
