DIY approved by dummies: nail art striper

A lot of people like nail art, but not a lot of people have all the supplies to make little pieces of art on your nails. And when you look at it, nail art tools can be quite expensive. So I found out some ways to simulate some tools. For a dotting tool you can use a toothpick or a bobby pin, but I didn't really know anything that I could use as a striper, although it's as simple as 1 2 3.

All you need is:
  • an old nail polish
  • nail polish remover
  • a scissor
  • some cotton wool patches
You start of with taking the brush from your nail polish and removing all the excess polish from the brush with the cotton wool and the nail polish remover. Make sure there's absolutely no nail polish left on the brush.

After that you start sectioning the brush and cutting of little pieces of 'hair' until you have a very thin striper brush.

And that's it. I hope you enjoyed this little DIY. If you have any great DIY ideas, you can always let us know.
